Mike Fusilli was a three time All-American, two time finalist, and one time NCAA champion for Ithaca College.  He ranks fourth in career wins at Ithaca with 115 and holds the school record for fastest fall in ten seconds.  In 1988, Fusilli placed sixth in the NCAA Championships at 190 pounds before improving to second at the same weight in 1989.  For the 1990 season, he moved up to heavyweight where he won his championships with a 36-8 record.  Fusilli was a three time All-State selection in New York for his performance in the New York Intercollegiate Championships and was a three time East Region champion.  His senior year, he was awarded the Ben Light Award for outstanding male senior athlete, and in 1997, he was inducted into the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame.

2006-07: Recorded a team-high 24 wins and finished with a 24-11 record at 174 and 184 pounds ... posted the most falls on the team with seven ... was 7-2 in ACC matches and 11-5 overall in dual meets ... won The Citadel Open, placed third at the UPenn Invitational and finished third at the ACC Tournament, all at 174 pounds ... honored as the Blue Devils’ Most Outstanding Held-Back Freshman of the Year ... All-ACC Academic team member.

2005-06: Had a team-best overall record of 11-5 at 174 and 184 pounds as a freshman ... tied for second on the team in pins with three ... placed fourth at the Citadel Open and at the UNC Pembroke Open.

Prep: Four-time letterwinner in wrestling at William Floyd High School ... four-time all-county selection, four-time league champion, two-time section champion, two-time New York State runner up ... earned Honorable Mention Asics All-America honors as a senior ... placed fifth in high school nationals as a senior in the 171-pound weight class ... also lettered in football.
